Little Red Riding Hood:
I promise mother.

Scene 2

Wolf:
Good morning, Little Red Riding
Hood! Where are you going?
Little Red Riding Hood:
To my grandmother. She is sick.
Wolf:
What's in the basket?
Little Red Riding Hood:
Food and cakes to help her get well.
Wolf:
Where does your grandmother live?
Little Red Riding Hood:
About half a mile from here, down that path, by the three oak trees.
Wolf:
You go that way and you'll be there sooner.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Thank you very much.

Scene 3

Story-teller 1:
Meanwhile the bad wolf went right to the grandmother's house and knocked on the door.
Granny:
Who is there?
Wolf:
Little Red Riding Hood. І’ve brought you some nice things to eat.
Granny:
Open the door and come in dear.
Story-teller 2:
The wolf jumped into the room, but grandmother quickly ran into the closet and closed the door tight.
Wolf:
Let me in, old woman, let me in!

The wolf put on grandmother's nightgown and climbed into the bed to wait for Little Red Riding Hood.

Scene 4

Grandmother?
Wolf:
Yes, my dear, come inside.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Grandmother, what large ears you have!
Wolf:
The better to hear you with, my dear.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Grandmother, what large eyes you have!
Wolf:
The better to see you, my dear.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Grandmother, what large nose you have!
Wolf:
The better to smell you with, my dear.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Grandmother, what large mouth you have!
Wolf:
The better to eat you with, my dear.
Story-teller 2:
The wolf sprang from the bed
and swallowed Little Red Riding Hood.

Scene 5
(Near granny's house)
Hunter 1:
Are you home, grandmother?
Hunter 2:
There is something strange here.
Story-teller 1:
Grandmother slowly opened the door and told the hunters everything that had happened.
Story-teller 2:
The hunter took his knife, made a slit in the wolfs stomach and out popped Little Red Riding Hood.
Granny:
Oh, my child, what a terrible fright you gave us! Thank you, dear hunters for saving our lives!
Story-teller 1:
Grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood went back inside and had a nice visit together. The hunter filled wolfs stomach with some rocks and sewed him back up. When the wolf woke up, he was so heavy that he could hardly walk. He dragged himself into the woods and never bothered any little children again.
Story-teller 2:
And from that day on Little Red Riding Hood kept her promises.
