• To develop the meaning of living and non – living things.

Introduction
In this lesson students present, practice and produce the vocabulary. They practice the usage of the verb can.

Procedure: students watch the video and make suggestions about the theme.

Procedure: students watch the video and choose the card with certain color. They read the definition and determine which group they belong to «Living things» or «Non – living things».

Procedure: students discuss the question in their groups.

Procedure: students watch the video «Cucumber plant time». Students conduct research.They plant rocks into the first pot and cucumber seeds into the second pot.

Procedure: students watch and listen to the video «Needs of Plants». They fill the gaps with correct words.

Procedure: students watch the video. They do the exercise and define living and non – living things explain their choice.

Procedure: Students are suggested to take a card with the image of living or non – living thing and describe it using the verb can.
