Good afternoon, dear students! The lesson today is going to be about Books and Authors. Now open your copybooks and write down the day, date and the topic.

Look at the screen. This is the illustration for the famous English book. Can you guess what it is?
What`s the title of the book?
Who was the book written by? Look at the blackboard.
Alice`s Adventures in Wonderland was written by Lewis Carrol.

Discussion: talking about your favourite books:
1. What`s your favourite book? It`s called Alice`s Adventures in Wonderland
2. Who`s the author of the book? Lewis Carroll is the author.
3. What sort of story is it? It is a classic fantasy story.
4. Who are the main characters? Alice, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, the King and Queen of Hearts.
5. What`s it about? It`s about strange things that happen when Alice falls down the rabbit- hole into Wonderland.
6. What happens in the end? Alice is the winner and she`s back into the real world.

Your hometask for the next lesson will be to:
